It was sad to see Ryou part ways from Shizuo and Hiroto, I couldn't help but sympathize, you could tell how strong their bond is and I liked how Ryou made sure to thank Shizuo for being the reason he started playing badminton. It'll be fun to see how their match goes in the future.

Isn't that exactly the reason why, because their grades weren't enough to get them in the school? Ryou was lucky his sister had already attended the school but the other two don't have the same thing.

strange thing is they didnt seem to be aiming to hit that grade even in the first episode when their exams were not yet due.while ryou didnt need to but aimed to do so anyway to allay his dad's fears.

Sure outside the big sis and the two friends, the characters seems a bit cliché for this kind of setting, but it's only the second episode and I'm enjoying this more than ryman'club... Interesting...

Also gosh why this kind of big sis is so rare... I mean, last time I saw this kind of big sis was with Rei in Yagakimi (there might be other tho, but can't really remember)

This series gets better and better! That last scene though, such a beautiful friendship and destroyed by rival schools. This kind of resembles life: you study together but work in separate companies and with different bosses. Then your work keeps you so buy you never see each other again. I also have a feeling (don't know for sure) that they may not play each other bcs of some rival school that will beat his friends and the MC will have to avenge them or he will be put as a Single player bcs of his development...

yeah seems decent sports anime, while i doubt it will come close to those high tier ones like hajime no ippo, majors, diamond no ace, knb, eyeshield 21, slam dunk and so on. it will probably be decent ride for this season
